Magesh
Reg. PT, MSc. PT
“I’m Magesh (ma-gae-sh), I am a registered physiotherapist and have been practicing physio since 2004. We moved to Owen Sound in 2014 and have been living and working here since.
I have a special interest in management of chronic pain, myofascial dysfunction, orthopedic physiotherapy, post-surgical rehab and sports injuries. I have completed ongoing professional education in various manual therapy techniques including Fascial Manipulation, which has been an important addition to my clinical expertise.
Fascial Manipulation is a manual therapy method where the myofascial structures supporting and moving the body is addressed where the basis is in assessing the body as a whole and not just where it hurts or where the problem appears to be.
I use a combination of manual therapy techniques, acupuncture/dry needling, customized exercises program and education/ergonomics to address the pain and dysfunction of various spinal and peripheral disorders to reduce pain, improve movement and restore quality of life.
When not working I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books and follow my wife in exploring the beautiful outdoors of Owen Sound. I look forward to meeting and working with you to address your pain/dysfunction issues to enable you to accomplish your goals.”
