Functional Capacity Evaluation
A functional capacity evaluation is a comprehensive evaluation of physical, functional and cognitive abilities using a set of measurable tests, practices and observations that are combined to determine the ability of the evaluated person to function in a variety of circumstances, most often employment, in an objective manner. Once the evaluation is completed, it is interpreted and presented to all concerned parties in a report or used to fill out a functional abilities form.
