Urinary Incontinence

I laughed so hard !

Have you seen that meme which says I laughed so hard tears rolled down my leg? It’s funny, isn’t it?

Except, it’s not !

It’s not funny that a clinical condition is normalized by humor.

It’s not funny that women are told “suck it up, buttercup!

It’s not OK that we are told that leaking is normal after a baby.

It’s not OK that panty liners become a part of a mother’s life because no one can predict when there will be a leak.

This is to all those strong women out there! If you have issues of urinary leak with cough, sneeze, lifting weights, running…

If you have strong urges to pee more often than you like…

If a walk to the washroom turns into a sprint because you just can’t wait, don’t let it be normalized.
